Saudi Arabia’s strategic military positions and bases in the kingdom’s province of Asir were hit with the Zalzal-3 ballistic missile by the Houthi-Saleh alliance. The attack was a response to Saudi airstrikes on residential areas across Yemen.

Saudi troops suffered heavy losses at the al-Montazah military base and in al-Zahran region in the province of Asir as a result of the Yemeni missile attack. According to earlier reports, over a hundred soldiers of the Saudi Army and its coalition members were killed each time, when they came under a ballistic missile attack by Yemen. This time, armored vehicles of the Saudi-led forces were also destroyed during the Yemeni missile attack.

On Sunday, it became known that control over four strategic regions in three Saudi provinces have been fully taken by the Houthi-Saleh alliance. According to social networks, as for today, the Yemeni side has a full control over the Jabal (Mount) al-Sar in Najran province, the Jabal (Mount) al-Dokhan in Jizan, the Jabal (Mount) al-Doud in Jizan province, and the Jabal (Mount) al-Rahwa in al-Rabou’a region of Asir province.

According to sources, the mountains that are under control of the Houthi-Saleh alliance are overlooking the provinces of Jizan, Najran and Assir. For this reason, now Saudi Arabia is in a very critical situation, meaning that Riyadh has captured nothing and just lost territory in the last 18 months of the war in Yemen.
