On December 25, the Israeli Air Force launched at least 22 missiles at alleged Hezbollah targets in the area of Damascus International Airport. The Syrian Air Defense Forces responded to the attack by intercepting the launched missiles and targeting Israeli jets. The Israeli Defense Forces were forced to employ own air defense systems to rescue the warplanes involved in the raid. MORE HERE
During the encounter, at least one Syrian surface-to-air missile malfunctioned and returned back slamming a building near Damascus. It’s unlcear what missile is filmed in the video, but most likely this was a S-125 or S-200 missile.
