Syrian forces have uncovered a large weapons cache in the Eastern Ghouta subrub of Damascus in the framework of the ongoing security operation in the area. The weapons cache included multiple mortar shells, rockets and IEDs.
Eastern Ghouta was liberated from militants on April 14. However, the security situation in the area remains unstable. So, government forces are actively conducting security operations there.
