On Monday, the Syrian army and its allies relaunched operations against US-backed militants in the desert area east of Suweida. As a result of rapid advance, government forces captured a number of points and pushed US-backed forces to retreat from a large part of the desert area. On Tuesday, the army continued operations in the area aiming to secure the whole desert area in eastern Suweida.
