A video of the Russian-made TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system operating in northern Hama has appeared online.
According to the video’s title, it was filmed on December 24, 2017. If this is true, the presence of the TOS-1A confirms that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies really prepare for the large-scale oepration against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the area, which is widely expected by pro-government sources.
Menawhile, reports appear that the Syrian military is deploying additional reinforcements to the northern Hama countryside ahead of the epxected advance.
