A video of a large military convoy of government forces (over 80 vehicles) heading to the southern Syrian province of Daraa appeared online on June 18.
The video shows a very long convoy, which includes battle tanks, artillery pieces, multiple rocket launchers and other equipment. It indirectly confirms that the Syrian Army and its allies are preparing to implement a military option to solve the militancy issue in southern Syria.
This decision is triggered by the unwillingness of militant groups and their foreign backers to negotiate a peaceful agreement in the area.

Last week, units of the elite Tiger Forces and their leader, General Suheil al-Hassan, deployed in the province of Daraa. The Tiger Forces will likely be one of the key offensive factions in the upcoming operation.
