Government forces have deployed south of the militant-held village of Beit Jinn in the Western Ghouta region in southern Syria, according to pro-government sources. The video below shows army troops operating in the area.
Beit Jinn is the key militant strong point in the area. The town is controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda).
