Ukrainian Nazis continue bloody attacks on civilians in the regions that Kiev lost. Impotent on the frontlines, Ukrainian military commanders are intentionally shelling the residential areas in the Donbass. More than three hundred shells hit the settlements of the Republic over the past day.
On August 1, the Ukrainian military continued to terrorize the civilian population of the Donetsk People’s Republic, inflicting multiple strikes, including with cluster munitions, killing more civilians. As a result of the shelling, at least three civilians were killed, at least three others were wounded.

The DPR representative in the Joint Control and Coordination Center provided the following data:
On August 1, as of 10 p.m., the following information about civilian casualties in the cities of the Republic was received :
Donetsk (Petrovsky district):
- Shelling at 4.05 pm: woman born in 1967 was wounded on Galitsky, 9
- Shelling at 4.45 pm: a woman born in 1944 was killed, a man born in 1943 was wounded on Chelyuskintsev St., 32,
Yasinovataya:
- men born in 1961 and 1981, a man born in 1975 was wounded on Karl Marx Street, 58,
- a woman born in 1970 and a man born in 1980 were wounded on Karl Marx Street, 45,
Gorlovka (Nikitovsky district):
- a woman born in 1952 was wounded on 106 Rybalko Street.
At least five apartment buildings were damaged in the Petrovsky and Kuibyshev districts of the DPR capital. Civilian houses in Yasinovataya were shelled with cluster munitions. The Ukrainian military again hit a bus in an attempt to kill more people. In Dokuchaevsk, the bus came under fire om its way from Makeyevka to Yasinovataya. Fortunately, casualties were avoided. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged in Panteleimonovka.
