On the night of June 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched another drone strike in the Russian rear region. Ukrainian drones reached the target.

According to local reports, two Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs struck an ammunition depot of the Russian military located in the area of the town of Olkhovatka in the Voronezh region. According to unconfirmed reports, Russian air defense forces shot down the UAVs near the facility, but the wreckage fell on the depot and caused fire.

Footage from the area confirmed the prolonged secondary detonation:

The local authorities confirmed the incident and introduced a  state of emergency in the Olkhovatsky district to eliminate the consequences of detonation as soon as possible.

The attack resulted in no casualties. The situation is under control of the local emergency services. Emergency crews, military and government representatives are working on the site.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine spread fake reports that there was evacuation of the local population; but they were denied by official claims of Russian authorities.

The Ukrainian military supported by NATO reconnaissance means is launching constant strikes on the Russian rear facilities. Most often, Ukrainian drone strikes target Russian oil depots and energy infrastructure. Russian military facilities are more difficult targets and they come under attacks of Ukrainian drones less often.
