On October 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of the town of Krasny Liman which has beed defended by allied forces of the DPR and Russia for weeks.

After the victory in Liman, the Ukrainian offensive did not stop. The recent Ukrainian gains pave the way for their advance to the East, towards the strategically important town of Kremennaya which is located on the crossroads used for supply of Russian grouping in the northern Donbass region.

As of October 3, no advance of the Ukrainian military towards Kremennaya was reported. The AFU are currently reinforcing their positions in Krasny Liman and the village of Torskoe located nearby. Ukrainian artillery is shelling the Russian military positions on the western outskirts of Kremennaya, preparing for the upcoming offensive operations. The village of Rubezhnoye located on the north-western outskirts of the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration is also heavily shelled by Ukrainian forces.

The battle for Krasny Liman once again confirmed that the Russian military is fighting with NATO in Ukraine. Dozens of units of foreign mercenaries are deployed in the region and conduct offensive operations instead of Ukrainian servicemen:

The main goal of the AFU is to cut off the road between Kremennaya and Svatovo.

North of Krasny Liman, the assault groups of the AFU are already attacking the road from their military positions in Terny. The Ukrainian military attempt to take control of the villages of Krasnopopovka and Peschanoe located on a hill from where they could establish a fire control on the highway. In the case of the Ukrainian success, the AFU could cut the road and surround the town of Kremennaya from the north.

The town of Svatovo is also an important target for the Ukrainian military. Amid the threat of Ukrainian offensive from the southern direction, the AFU continue their advance in the area of the Oskol water reservoir, located west of Svatovo. The offensive operations are also expected from the northern directions, where the AFU are reinforcing their positions in the Kupyansk region.

Fighting near Krasny Liman:

On October 3, the AFU claimed control of the villages of Borovaya and Shyikovka located on the left bank of the Oskol water reservoir. The Russian military is withdrawing forces in the area in an attempt to strengthen their defense in the Rayhorodok-Svatovo region.

Ukrainian Nazis are punishing civilians and torture Russian prisoners of war violating international conventions:

In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed heavy losses of the AFU amid their offensive operations.

In the Kupyansk region, Russian missiles hit the areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the 14th mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Kupyansk, Dvurechnaya and Kurilovka in the Kharkiv region. As a result, over 140 Ukrainian servicemen and 19 units of special military equipment were destroyed.

“The total losses of the enemy in the Kupyansk direction for three days of fighting amounted to more than 500 soldiers and about 60 units of military equipment,” the Russian Ministry of Defence said.

Ukrainian reserves, including units of the 66th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU in the direction of Krasny Liman near the city of Slavyansk also suffered heavy losses. During the day, up to 100 servicemen, six armored vehicles and two MLRS Grad combat vehicles were destroyed.

“The total losses of the units of the 66th and 93rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction for three days of hostilities amounted to more than 900 Ukrainian servicemen.”

The General Staff of Ukraine has never counted the losses in manpower. The last month of hostilities in Ukraine was marked by offensive operations of the AFU in several regions of the country. In the Kharkiv region, they led to strategic success, while in Kherson, the operation ended in failure and the unnecessary deaths of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen. The Kiev regime is wasting no time trying to disrupt Russian communications and cut off supply roads in the Kharkiv and Donbass regions before the rainy season comes, as well as before hundreds of thousands of newly mobilized Russian troops are deployed on the front lines. The Ukrainian Armed Forces and NATO servicemen deployed in Ukraine are trying their best to declare new victories and please their Western patrons, not paying attention to the price they have to pay.
