The Kherson region remains one of the bloodiest battlefields of the war in Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are still holding a stronghold on the eastern bank of the Dnieper River.
Battles are ongoing in the center on the village of Krynki. Ukrainian forces are still capable of transfering reserves across the river, including some heavy vehicles, in order to continue fighting and expand the zone of their control. The main supply road lays across the Frolov island near Krynki. There are reportedly at least two small pontoon crossings across the Konka River. The route is operating despite heavy Russian strikes and artillery shelling.
On the night of November 20, several Ukrainian groups crossed the river and took up positions in the forest area near the settlement. Russian artillery fire, heavy airstrikes and remote mining prevent Ukrainian forces from advance.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces are still present on the eastern bank near the Antonovsky and railway bridges. Battles are ongoing near the villages of Poima and west of Peschanovka. The AFU are aimed to take control of the settlements and cut the road which is already under the Ukrainian fire control.
On November 21, several Ukrainian groups attempted to regroup in the area but were destroyed by Russian fire.
Another Ukrainian assault group on boat was destroyed in the Dnieper near the village of Tyaginka located on the western bank. Several firing points of the AFU were also destroyed in the area.
On November 19, Russian forces thwarted Ukrainian landing operation at Bolshoy Potemkin Island in the Kherson region. As a result of the fire damage, 2 boats and 11 Ukrainian servicemen and their deployment point were destroyed.

According to the reports of the Russian military deployed in the Kherson region, somw interesting changes took place in the ranks of the Ukrainian army recently. English and Spanish speech disappeared in radio conversations of the AFU intercepted by Russian forces. It was replaced by Romanian, Moldovan and Georgian languages. Many professional fighters from NATO countries decided to leave Ukraine.
