The Russian military is closely following enemy losses on the frontlines, and this number does not decrease. Amid the ongoing heavy battles in all directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot replenish their units, despite the attempts of the Kiev regime to motivate the youth to go the battlefield.
On March 1st, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation concluded that desperate attempts by the Kiev regime to replenishing losses on the frontlines are not successful.
The number of Ukrainian losses in February confirms the trend of the previous months of a steady increase in the number of wounded and killed soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which exceeds the number of newly mobilized fighters.
According to the Russian military, in February 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 38,920 servicemen. At the same time, less than 28,000 Ukrainians were captured by the mobilization centers across the country.
In January, about 28,000 people were mobilized with total losses of 51,960 military personnel, in December 2024 – about 33,000 with losses of 48,470 military personnel, in November – about 34,000 people with losses of 60,805 military personnel.
The Kiev regime is trying its best to find more cannon fodder. Following the order of its Western patrons, on February 11th, Kiev launch the so–called “new 18-24 contract” in an attempt to attract Ukrainian youth to the Armed Forces on a voluntary basis. The new initiative is aimed at recruiting 4 thousand volunteers per month, but the Ukrainian military cannot find even a couple of thousand young “volunteers” into the ranks of the army.
