Ukrainian forces destroyed another hospital located on the territories lost by the Kiev regime. At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the town of Tokmak in the Zaporozhie region.
The shelling took place at about 4 am local time. The building of the hospital was heavily damaged. As a result of the Ukrainian attack one of the buildings of the hospital was completely destroyed. The maternity hospital and pediatrics facility, where patients are currently located, were also damaged. No information on the victims has been revealed.
The town of Tokmak is located about 30 km south of the front lines. In mid-December, the local officials called it the most heavily shelled town in the region.
The attack against civilians was not an accident. This is not the first attack on a civilian hospital launched by Ukrainian servicemen in the Donbass. On the New Year Eve, Ukrainian forces shelled another hospital in the town of Pervomaisk in the LPR, killing at least six civilians. LINK
In addition to the shelling of the civilian infrastructure in Tokmak, the AFU shelled the residential quarter in the town of Prishib. The Ukrainian shells hit the private civilian garages, destroying civilian cars. There were no casualties among civilians as a result of the attack.
The destruction of civilian infrastructure in settlements not affected by the fighting is a strategy of the Kiev regime aimed at protecting the population from “Russian invaders”.
