On January 9, the Russian Defense Ministry held the first conference call of the military department in 2024. The Russian military  leadership discussed the ongoing Special Military Operation in Ukraine, plans to supply Russian troops, including with drones of all types, maintaining the combat readiness of the nuclear triad, as well as strengthening the satellite grouping.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed that Russian forces maintain a strategic initiative along the entire line of combat contact and continue reducing the combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A few days ago, former Prosecutor of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko claimed on air that Ukraine loses 30,000 people killed and seriously wounded every month, and the total losses of the Ukrainian army, National Guard and other law enforcement agencies that taking part in the war amount to about 500 thousand people since the beginning of the Russian military operations.

Following the orders of its Western curators, Kiev continues to send its population to slaughter. The total mobilisation will not change the situation, but only prolong the military conflict.

  • The Russian Army and Navy will continue to be equipped with the most modern weapons, including artificial intelligence technologies and those based on new physical principles;
  • The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will increase serial deliveries of a range of drones, from ultra-small to heavy strike UAVs;
  • In the near future, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will improve the work of communications, increase the efficiency of reconnaissance and the capabilities of satellite grouping;
  • The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will continue to apply the experience of special operations and involve instructors with combat experience in the training of military specialists;

“The Russian Federation will continue to consistently achieve the goals of the special military operation,” the Minister concluded.
