Benjamin Velcro is a US citizen who is fighting as a mercenary against the Russian military in Ukraine. He was a foreign instructor for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and is now taking part in hostilities. Benjamin Velcro has recently revealed the details of the brutal murder of young Russian prisoner of war.
The conversation with the US militant was published by the Russian news agency Rybar. Being drunk, Benjamin Velcro told Russian reporters the details of the terrible massacre of 18-year-old Russian soldiers who reportedly was from the Urals or Siberia. The soldier was captured by the Ukrainians after he survived in an ambush by the AFU.
According to Benjamin, fighters of the Georgian Legion mocked the prisoner. They cut his tendons and ordered him to swim across the Seversky Donets River and shot him dead.
“We practiced shooting to see how we shoot while he swims. I don’t know, maybe Siberians swim well, but he’s dead,” said Velcro.
At first, the mercenary attempted to hide the fact that he took part in the torture of the young soldier but later, he revealed that he was among those who participated in the massacre.
Velcro also claimed that he was tired and wanted to return home with the money he earned. He said that he was disappointed in the Ukrainian command who use soldiers as cannon fodder, and mercenaries are forced to do menial work.
