Since the collapse of the ceasefire in July 2015, the Turkish-Kurdish conflict in in Turkey’s majority Kurdish southeast has entered one of its deadliest chapters.
According to expert estimates, over 2,500 people have been killed in clashes between Turkish forces and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the country’s southeast.
