The Turkish Armed Forces and their proxies have seized from the ISIS terrorist group 5 villages, including Sheikh Alwan, Bazji and Batajak, in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo.
The Turkey-led forces advance in two directions:
- to the key ISIS-controlled town of Al-Bab (This is a major logistical hub in northern Aleppo)
- to the ISIS-controlled town of Arima (The Turkish forces seek to prevent the further Kurdish expansion in the province, advancing in this direction)
