Ahmad Salamah Mabrouk (Abu al-Faraj al-Massri), a top commander of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra or al-Nusra Front), has been killed by an alleged US drone strike at the village of Jisr al-Shogour in the Syrian province of Idlib.
We recall Ahmad Salamah Mabrouk was spotted in an official al-Nusra Front video with, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, a leader of the terrorist group last August. The video was linked to the group’s rebranding from Jabhat al-Nusra to Jabhat Fatah al-Sham.
