The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Tiger Forces, the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah have launched a final push towards the ISIS-held city of al-Bukamal located near the Syrian border with Iraq.
According to pro-government sources, the Tiger Forces and the NDF have advanced on ISIS positions from the direction of al-Mayadin along the western bank of the Euphrates.
On the same time, the SAA and Hezbollah have attacked ISIS from the direction of the T2 Pumping Station, moving along the border with Iraq. The Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) are reportedly assisting them from the Iraqi territory securing the eastern flank of the assault force.
