"The United States Has No Right To Lecture China": Beijing's Harsh Response To Washington's Provocation

Washington found another supplier of weapons for Russia. According to US Secretary of State Blinken, Beijing is already helping the Russian military with the supply of non-lethal military aid and, according to the information available to the Americans, it may begin to supply lethal weapons soon. According to the US official, China is “already one step away from the start of deliveries.”

US Vice President Harris made similar claims, adding that deliveries are “about to begin.” As usual, Washington did not specify the weapons in question.

In response to the accusations from Washington, China clearly replied that the United States has no right to lecture about possible arms supplies to Moscow. This is Beijing’s first such harsh response to Washington amid the Ukrainian crisis, which clearly demonstrates China’s policy in response to the US bellicose provocations.

Washington’s revelations are once again aimed at publicly exerting diplomatic pressure on Beijing. And Beijing does not intend to tolerate this.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin responded to US statements:

Weapons on the battlefield are continuously supplied by the United States, not China. The United States has no right to give orders and lectures to China, and we will also never accept instructions and even threats and pressure from the United States regarding Russian-Chinese relations,” the diplomat stressed.

Mr. Wenbin pointed out that China’s policy is aimed at a peaceful settlement of the conflict and facilitating negotiations. He called on the United States to rethink its policy, make more peaceful efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and stop shifting responsibility for its bellicose actions.

“We will continue to promote peace and negotiations, bring Chinese wisdom to promote a political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine, as well as work with the international community to promote dialogue and consultations, resolve the concerns of all parties, achieve universal security” — Chinese Foreign Ministry Qin Gang earlier claimed

China also called on the West to stop making a fuss like “today is Ukraine, tomorrow is Taiwan.”

China recommended to the world community to clearly understand who is really calling for a peaceful way out of the aggravation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and who is “adding fuel to the fire, actively encouraging confrontation”.
