On the night of October 6, the Russian military launched new wave of strikes with drones and missiles in different regions of Ukraine. Explosions were reported in the Odessa, Kirovograd, Kiev, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. LINK
On the early morning of October 6, the center of the city of Kharkiv came under attack. The local authorities confirmed the attack and damage in two city districts. The mayor claimed that a residential building was struck. However, the casualties are extremely low, according to the official data.
A child was killed, he was found under the rubble of a residential building, said the head of the Kharkiv regional administration Oleg Sinegubov. Nine civilians sought medical help, including an 11-month-old child.
However, footage from the spot showed horrific damage in at least two areas. It allowed to identify the targets of the strikes.
According to preliminary reports from the city, the local Reikartz hotel full of foreign mercenaries and instructors was struck. The claims were confirmed by footage from the spot. Ukrainian media did not show the hotel itself but one of the missiles shows damage to the street and buildings nearby.
The hotel is located on Sadovaya Street, 4. And the following video was shot nearby, in Teatralny Lane. The operators are hiding the hotel.
Moreover, Reikartz hotels are particularly popular among the NATO foreign instructors. Earlier, on August 10, another Russian rocket attack destroyed the same hotel in Zaporozhye, where dozens of mercenaries, including several NATO instructors, were killed. LINK
The claims of Ukrainian authorities that Russian forces were targeting civilians are lie. Rather the Russian missile failed to reach the hotel; or it was struck by another missile or an UAV and Kiev is hiding the real damage.
Another damaged building was more widely shown by MSM and Ukrainian sources. The Ukrainian authorities claimed that he was also hit by Russian missiles.
The building is located on Plekhanovskaya Street, 39. Information in open sources suggests that it was an ordinary house. The video confirmed that the building was not destroyed but damaged. Thus, most likely, it was hit not by Russian Iskander but by a Ukrainian air defense missile, intentionally or accidentally.
The building is located on the same street where the Malyshev plant is located. The large industrial facility is regularly shelled by Russian missiles because it is used by the Ukrainian military for the production and repair of tanks and armored vehicles. The Russian military probably struck the plant with drones and missiles, but the Ukrainian authorities hide the damage.
A civilian house on Plekhanovskaya Street could be hit by a failed Ukrainian air defense system that was deployed in the area to protect the facility. The strike could also have been inflicted by the Ukrainian military deliberately in order to once again lie to Western politicians about the brutal Russians who are killing civilians, while Zelensky continues hanging around Europe, begging for air defense systems. This is not the first civilian target struck by Ukrainians to impress their Western patrons. LINK
