The Syrian Republican Guard and other pro-government factions have further advanced against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Faylaq al-Rahman militant groups in eastern Damascus.
Government forces have advanced in the direction of the al-Mustafa Mosque in the Jobar area and captured few building blocks during their operation. An intense fighting is now ongoing in the area.
