Syrian government forces have been developing an advance in the direction of the ISIS-held town of al-Bab in the Syrian province of Aleppo.
According to local sources, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have launched an attack on the village of Deir Qaak which is located less than 10 km from al-Bab.
If it’s liberated, government forces will be able to conduct flank attacks on a batch of ISIS-held villages southeast and northwest of the Aleppo-Al-Bab road.
