Syrian forces have seized a large amont of explosives and weapons in the librated area of Rastan in northern Homs, according to the state-run news agency SANA.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies discovered explosive materials, weapons, miscellaneous ammo, IEDs, machineguns, locally-made rockets, improvised cannons and protective masks in the villages of Tir Maala and al-Dar al-Kabira.
According to the report, government forces will continue security operations in the area until it’s fully secured.
Last week, the SAA established full control of the Rastan pocket following a successful implementation of reconsiliation deal in the area.
