The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) captured the villages of Hamra Balasim and Nasira in the eastern Raqqa countryside. In the western Raqqa countryside, the SDF captured the village of Al-Furqun. With this advance, SDF deployed in less than 8 km away from the western entrance of Raqqa city.

The SDF is also preparing to attack ISIS in the village of Kadiran, 1 km from the Baath dam.

From its side, ISIS militants managed to destroy a vehicle belonging to alleged the SDF in the eastern village of Sahlabiya in the western Raqqa countryside.

The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq released a video of four Kuridsh fighters who had been captured by ISIS militants in the village of Ajil near the Tabqah military airbase.

According to local sources, 16 civilians were killed Wednesday in an airstrike by US-led coalition warplanes on the village of Barouda. US-led coalition warplanes also targeted the town of Raqqa al-Samra in the eastern countryside of Raqqa with two airstrikes.
The SDF is preparing to attack the villages of Raqqa al-Samra and Hamra Jamasi in the eastern Raqqa countryside with the aim of securing its rare before proceeding towards the eastern entrance of the city.
