The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) captured a major part of Al-Sinaa district from ISIS terrorists in the eastern part of Raqqa city.
During its advance, SDF discovered an ISIS VBIED workshop in the district.

According to Kurdish sources, the SDF began storming the Old Raqqa area west of Al-Sinaa and Al-Bareed districts. However, the SDF has not yet captured any positions from ISIS.
The SDF also began an advance in the southwestern Raqqah countryside where it captured Al-Sahl village, about 7 km away from Raqqa and managed to capture an ISIS VBIED inside it.

It seems that SDF has begun working to encircle ISIS fighters in Raqqa from the south after the Syrian Arab Army (approached the Hama-Raqqa road.
According to local sources, on Wednesday, ISIS fighters executed many prisoners in Raqqa city out of fear that they could be freed by SDF.
Some reports claimed that Syrian and Russian Air Force warplanes targeted a convoy of ISIS fighters during its withdrawal from Raqqa city for the second time.
On June 13, ISIS armed drones killed some SDF fighters in two separate attacks at Khas Da’koul and Matab Bourshad east of Raqqa.

According to the United Nations, airstrikes of the US-led coalition led to the killing and wounding of a large number of civilians, in addition to the displacement of more than 150 thousand people.
Opposition sources claimed that 1414 civilians have been killed since the operation “Euphrates Fury” was launched by the US-led coalition and the SDF.
