On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a very heavy shelling campaign on positions of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Hamdania, south of Al-Baath city in the province of Quneitra.

The SAA also began a new attempt to regain some points between Al-Baath and Hamdania, but was unable to continue the attack due to the Israeli bombing.
Israeli Air Force warplanes targeted a battle tank and a 105 mm artillery piece of the SAA in Samadaniya al-Sharkia town and the outskirts of Al-Baath.
According to SAA sources, the Israeli drones are still flying over Al-Baath. Pro-government sources claimed that the Israeli strike came after Syrian artillery units targeted a meeting that included Israeli intelligence officers, FSA and HTS commanders in Old Quneitra city.
Sources from the SAA confirmed the bombing of a meeting between HTS and FSA commanders in Old Quneitra city, and confirmed that Israeli ambulances entered and evacuated a number of wounded, but didn’t confirm the presence of Israeli intelligence officers in the meeting that was targeted.
