The Syrian army and Liwa al-Quds have liberated more ares from Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) and its allies in the northern part of Aleppo city.
On October 14, the government forces repelled an attempt to counter-attack by Jabhat Fatah al-Sham & co and fully secured the area of Asfar Hill. Then, the army and Liwa al-Quds advanced in the area of Ardh al-Hamra, seizing a large part of it.
Separately, the army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) attacked militants in the Bustan Al-Basha Neighborhood in central Aleppo. As result they were able to seize a number of building blocks in the neighborhood. Now, the government forces are in control of about a half of it.
