The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have recaptured the Tafhah Mountain and the nearby village of Jibab Hamad from ISIS terrorists in the area northwest of the Tiyas Airbase located at the Homs-Palmyra road in the province of Homs.
On Friday, ISIS launched an advance against the army and the NDF in the same area, attacking government positions near the Tafhah Mountain. However, terrorists were not able to overrun the defense army lines. In turn, government forces launched a counter-attack and made gains against ISIS on Saturday.
