The ISIS terrorist group has been massively attacking the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) in the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor since the successful seizure of the strategic Turdah mountain with the support of the US-led coalition’s air power.
Recently, ISIS terrorists attacked the Syrian army and the NDF in the government-controlled parts of the city’s Industrial District (Al-Sinah), located at the eastern bank of Euphrates. The attack resulted in heavy clashes between the Syrian government forces and the terrorists that took lifes of some 20 ISIS members and 12 soldiers.
Pro-government sources report that the army and the NDF have been able to repel all ISIS attacks. However, the terrorist group keeps the pressure on the government forces in Deir Ezzor.
