According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is on the verge of taking full control of the Inthriyah-Resafa road and dozens of villages in the eastern Aleppo countryside.
The SAA has managed to capture Bir Abu Alaj and the Syriatel checkpoint south of it, deploying 10 km away from the SAA units stationed in Khirbet al-Baida, north of Ithriyah.
In the eastern Homs countryside, pro-government sources announced that Brig General. Fouad Kaddour, was killed during clashes with ISIS. According to the sources, General Khaddour worked in eastern Homs for years against ISIS and participated in a majority of the operations in the area.
Russian Air Force warplanes continued to target ISIS positions and vehicles in the eastern Homs countryside and the eastern Hama countryside.

It is believed that the SAA will focus on the eastern Hama countryside, where it has not yet managed, despite the great fire support, to achieve any advance. ISIS is trying to keep Aqerba’at town near the Ithriyah road under its control at any cost. The town is considered a root for weapon smuggling to the terrorist organization from the opposition-held areas of Idlib.
