On Saturday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies captured the southern part and the center of Humaymah village in the eastern Homs countryside near the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria.
Furthermore, the SAA captured Tali’ah Sharqi and Gharbi villages north of Sukhnah town in the eastern Homs countryside.

Russian and Syrian warplanes conducted dozens of airstrikes on ISIS positions in the eastern Homs countryside, according to pro-government sources.
The ISIS-linked Amaq news agency claimed that ISIS fighters destroyed a bulldozer of the SAA near Humaymah village with an ATGM. Amaq also published photos of an attack on SAA positions north and east of Sukhnah town.
In another development, pro-government sources claimed that US-led collation warplanes attacked the Tiger Forces in al-Kadir village between the southern Raqqa countryside and eastern Homs countryside. The sources also claimed that many fighters from the “Tarmah group” – a part of the Tiger Forces – were killed or injured in the airstrike.
If these claims are confirmed it will be hard for the US-led collation to justify attacking the SAA tens of kilometers away from any front line with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
