The Syrian army has been developing momentum at the Castello Highway heading to the militant-held areas of Aleppo city. Recently, the pro-government forces captured a bus station near the Al Barrad crossroad.
With the recent gains of the Syrian army in the area, only about 1000 m is left to complite the full encirclement of militants in the city.
