On July 5, multiple videos documenting combat operations by the Russian military in the special military operation zone were posted to social networks.

Nine of the videos show recent strikes with FPV suicide drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including main battle tanks, armored personnel carriers and howitzers, in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia an several other directions.

Another video shows an attack with Geran-type suicide drones that targeted the post of Ukraine’s 36th Marine Brigade in the settlement of Stepanovka in the direction of Sumy.

Three more videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted a river crossing near the settlement of Iskra, as well as Ukrainian positions and an ammunition depot close to the settlement of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv direction.

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes destroyed “two launchers and two AN/МPQ-65 radar stations of the U.S.-made Patriot air defence system, inflicted losses on infrastructure of military airfields, POL [petroleum, oils and lubricants] and materiel depots, UAV [Unmanned Aerial Vehicle] workshops and depots, as well as struck temporary deployment areas of AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] formations, nationalists, and foreign mercenaries” in 152 areas in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that Russian air defenses shot down one U.S.-made HIMARS projectile, one Neptune long-range guided missile, three aviation bombs, and 371 fixed-wing drones during the same period.

According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 67,349 drones, 614 air defense systems, 24,137 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,575 multiple rocket launchers, 26,993 artillery pieces, and 37,677 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
