On August 20 morning, Spanish Police shot a knife-wielding man as he attempted to attack a police station in Catalonia.
A man armed with knife has acceded this morning to Cornellà's police station with the aim to attack the Police officers. The aggressor has been shot down. The facts happened a few minuts before 6 a.m.

According to media reports, the suspect may be a native of Algeria. It is unclear if he was killed. The incident is investigated as a terrorist act.
Later on the same day, three people were injured as a car hit pedestrians in the northern city of Zaragoza. According to media reports, the vehicle fled the scene.
