SouthFront’s independence and constant work aimed to highlight an alternative point of view led to hysteria among the project’s ill-wishers.
Most likely, now they see SouthFront as a major threat to the agenda promoted by the mainstream media and think tanks.
Since early January 2016, anybody has been able to observe:
- A massive wave of troll attacks at SouthFront’s Youtube channel;
- Cyber-attacks against southfront.org;
- Fierce attempts to misrepresent SouthFront’s efforts and to discredit the project among its readers and supporters.
Now, the project’s ill-wishers aim to censor SouthFront at Wikipedia.
Neo-liberal “activists” have deleted almost all factual information about SouthFront from Wikipedia and now are attempting to delete the whole page about the project.
SouthFront Team sees these efforts as a clear example of the censorship and a shameful attempt to hide the role played by SouthFront in providing independent coverage and analysis about conflicts and crises around the world.
