After one of the most devastating attacks on Ukrainian military and energy infrastructure launched on August 26, the Russian military did not stop. The night of August 27 was also busy for Ukrainian air defense which failed to repel new wave of Russian strikes.
At night, explosions thundered in different cities in the Kiev, Vinnytsya, Khmelnitsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Rivne, Kharkiv, Zhitomir, Sumy, Mykolaiv regions. The Russian military used both drones and missiles for the attack. According to preliminary reports, the hypersonic Kinzhal missiles were also launched for the second night in a row.
Kiev prefers lying about the interception of all Russian drones and missiles over Ukraine and Ukrainian propaganda machine is working hard to hide the real results of Russian attacks. However, the destruction of some targets is too hard to hide.
On the night of August 27, Russian Iskander-M missiles destroyed another hideout used by the Ukrainian military to hide foreign mercenaries in the rear settlements. In an attempt to please foreign visitors, Ukrainians often settle them in hotels in rear cities together with AFU officers. One of such hotels was destroyed last night by a precision Russian strike in the city of Krivy Rih in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The building of the local Aurora hotel was destroyed.
The local Ukrainian authorities confirmed the strike on another allegedly ‘civilian facility’. According to preliminary official reports, the attack resulted in two people killed and five others wounded. According to unofficial local sources, at least a dozen were killed.
This is far from the first hotels full of military personnel destroyed in Ukrainian cities located not far from the front. On August 25, another hotel was destroyed in the city of Kramatorsk which is under the control of the AFU in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Russian strikes have been destroying the hideouts of Ukrainian servicemen and their foreign friends in civilian hotels, schools, kindergartens, summer camps etc, since the very beginning of the Special Military Operation. Kiev’s propaganda first tried to assure the public that the Russian military was bombing civilians, blaming Moscow for war crimes and genocide of the Ukrainian people. Kiev was massively spreading fakes for years of hostilities but the truth was always revealed by a slight analysis. Today, no one no longer believes that there are hotels full of tourists in the war-torn Ukrainian regions. That’s why Kiev claims that the destroyed hotels only host ‘peaceful volunteers’, ‘civilian reporters’, ‘guards of journalists’ etc.
After the nigh strikes in Krivy Rih, new reports about death of more civilian ‘activists’ are expected to emerge. In several weeks in the West, there will be short a report about the death of another officer from France, Poland or the US in an accident during his holiday somewhere in the Alps.
