Russian Victory In Zeleny Kut: Last Steps To Full-Scale Offensive In Dnepropetrovsk

On June 14, units of the Russian Center troop grouping successfully took control of the settlement of Zeleny Kut in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), marking another important advance towards the Dnepropetrovsk region. Russian control of this locality comes amid fierce fighting across multiple fronts, as Russian forces continue to push westward, expanding their zone of control and pressuring Ukrainian defenses.

Following the liberation of the strategically important town of Komar, the Eastern troop grouping continues mop-up operations on a wide front, consolidating its positions. Russian assault units are already engaged in heavy combat further north, approaching the village of Zaporozhye (DPR).

The mop up operations are ongoing in the semi-encircled village of Novoukrainka, where Ukrainian forces are trying to resist on their last strongholds to slow down Russian full-fledged offensive in Dnepropetrovsk.

On the northern flank, the Center grouping continues its offensive along the border, with fighting now spilling into the Dnepropetrovsk region. Assault units of the 80th Regiment are expanding their zone of control west of Kotlyarovka. Russian forces are engaged in combat in Novonikolayevka, where roughly half of the village is under their control. The advance toward Muravka, located on the Dnepropetrovsk border, continues, with approximately one kilometer left to secure.

Russian victory in Zeleny Kut represents another step forward in broader offensive efforts, further tightening pressure on Ukrainian forces in the region.
