The Russian military does not stop delivering precision strikes on Ukrainian military and industrial facilities in different rear regions. Attacks by Russian drones and missiles continue day and night.
On the night of January 27, Russian precision strikes were reported in the city of Slavyansk, which remains one of the last large Ukrainian strongholds in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Slavyansk is the key logistics hubs of the Ukrainian military in the northern DPR. A large number of troops and military equipment are concentrated there, including reserves aimed tp be transfered to various directions.
According to unofficial military sources, Russian strikes destroyed the local entreprise, the building of which were used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The targeted industrial facility in the city located near the front produced some ceramics but it was close due to the war. The workshops were used for accommodation of the Ukrainian military personnel.
Footage from the area showed that the building was completely destroyed as a result of Russian precision missile strike. According to reports by the local residents, a large number of ambulances headed towards the non-working workshop shortly after the strike. Obviously, they went to save lives of wounded Ukrainian militants.
Any details of the strike are yet to be revealed. It is not yet known which unit was accommodated in the workshop, whether ammunition was stored there. It is possible that some foreign mercenaries could have been stationed in the building. Thus, the real losses of the Ukrainian army as a result of the strike in Slavyansk are still unknown.
On January 27, Russian strikes did not stop. According to preliminary reports by Ukrainian media, more explosions thundered in the cities of Kherson and Kharkiv in the afternoon. The targets of the strikes are yet to be revealed.
Both Kharkiv and Kherson remain among the most targeted cities in Ukraine. Large Ukrainian reserves aimed to continue military operations across the Dnieper river and to plug the holes in Ukrainian defense in the northern Donbass are concentrated there. Thus, the cities are stuffed military personnel and their equipment. Moreover, the constant Russian strikes are destroying Ukrainian industrial facilities in the city of Kharkiv. Some of them continue to function, providing for the needs of the Ukrainian military.
