On December 2, another successful operation by Russian sabotage group on the Ukrainian territory was revealed. A military position in the Chernihiv region came under attack. Russian group approached the hideout unnoticed and destroyed a group of Ukrainian servicemen and border guards. According to the Ukrainian reports, at least three border guards were killed, another one was captured by Russian forces.
Ukrainian reporters claimed that the reason of the success of the Russian operation was the negligence of Ukrainian servicemen in the position, the lack of control by the command and the extensive experience of the Russian special forces in conducting such operations.

More successful attacks by Russian saboteurs were reported in the Ukrainian border regions in November. LINK According to the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian sabotage groups enter the territory of Ukrainian Sumy and Chernihiv regions every three days.
