The Russian military has repelled more Ukrainian counter-attacks and made new gains in the direction of Donetsk, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in its November 10 briefing.
According to the ministry, the Yug (South) Group of Forces advanced deep into Ukrainian defenses and defeated several formations of the 24th, 33rd, 54th mechanized, 46th Airmobile Brigade, and the 35th Marine Brigade near the settlements of Nikolaevka, Konstantinovka, Zaliznyanske, Novomarkovo, Kurakhovo, Dalneye and Seversk.
The group also repelled an attack that was launched by an assault detachment of the 77th Airmobile Brigade, the ministry said.
“The enemy’s losses amounted to 640 troops, an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier, a Kozak armored fighting vehicle, four cars, a 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit, a 122 mm D-30 howitzer, three American-made 105 mm M119 guns, and three ammunition depots,” it added.
In the same direction, the Tsentr (Center) Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Volchenko, according to the ministry, which also said that the group defeated the 53rd, 100th mechanized, 152nd Jaeger brigades, the 38th Marine Brigade, the 14th and 15th National Guard Brigades close to the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Novotroitske, Novoselidovka, Krasnoarmeysk, Dzerzhinsk, Shcherbinovka, Shevchenko and Dimitrov.
The ministry added that the group repelled ten counter-attacks by the 151st Mechanized, 68th Jaeger Brigades, 49th and 425th Assault Battalions, 35th Marine Brigade and the Lyut Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine.
“The enemy lost up to 460 servicemen, a tank , an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier, three vehicles, a UR-67 mine clearing vehicle, a 152 mm D-20 gun, a 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit, three 122 mm D-30 howitzers, and a 100 mm Rapira anti-tank gun,” the ministry said, noting that a workshop producing drones was also destroyed.
The Russian Vostok (East) Group of Forces also improved its positions along the forward edge in the Donetsk direction and defeated several formations of the 58th motorized infantry, 33rd mechanized, 128th mountain assault brigades near the settlements of Razdolnoye, and Zelenoye Pole, according to the ministry.
Four counter-attacks by the 23rd Mechanized Brigade, the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 113th Territorial Defense Brigade were also repelled by the group.
“The enemy’s losses amounted to 105 servicemen, a Kozak combat armored vehicle, five cars, an American-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system launcher and two Polish-made 155mm Krab self-propelled artillery units,” the ministry said.
The Russian military made significant gains in the Donetsk direction in recent months after inflicting heavy human and material losses on Kiev forces.

The remnants of most Ukrainian formations fighting in this direction are now nearly-besieged in Kurakhovo and several smaller settlements to the west and north of it. Instead of withdrawing to save troops and equipment, Kiev forces are launching several futile counter-attacks every single day.
