Fresh photos have appeared online showing Russian-made BM-27 Uragan heavy multiple rocket launchers deployed in the Deir Ezzor countryside for battle against ISIS.
The systems were actively supporting the government push to break the ISIS siege on Deir Ezzor city and Deir Ezzor Airport. Now, they are involved in operations against ISIS in the countryside of the city.
The BM-27 Uragan is a heavy self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system. It has the effective firing range of 35 km and the calibre of 220 mm.
