The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) continue to target key positions of Kiev forces in different directions of the front using Kh-38 missiles.
Photos posted to social networks on June 9 showed the aftermath of a pinpoint strike with a Kh-38 on a headquarters of Kiev forces in the Kharkiv direction.

And on June 13, a video surfaced online showing a Kh-38 strike against a multi-story building occupied by Ukrainian troops in an unknown direction.
The Kh-38 air-launched missile has a range of 40 kilometers and carries a warhead weighing 250 kg. The basic version of the missile is guided via a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system. Other versions with semi-active laser, active radar and imaging infrared seekers were developed.
The missile is also the base for the Kh-36 Grom-E1, a tactical cruise missile with a range of 120 kilometers, and the Kh-36 Grom-E2, a guided glide bomb with a range of 50 kilometers.
The Kh-38 missiles are typically fired by Su-34 fighter bombers. However, the missile can be launched by other warplanes of the VKS, including the MiG-29, Su-30, Su-35 and Su-57. Recent reports even revealed that the missile can be launched from upgraded Ka-52 helicopters.
The VKS has been mainly using the precision-guided missiles to take out key positions of Kiev forces, vital bridges near the front and high-value military equipment, like radars and air defense systems.
