A closed door meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US President Donald Trump will take place at 10:30am in the Oval Office, according to the White House.
The State Department said that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Lavrov are scheduled to meet earlier on Wednesday to discuss Ukraine, Syria and bilateral relations issues.
The Lavrov-Trump meeting will be one of the highest-level contacts between Trump and representatives of the Russian government since he took office in January.
