The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not stop advancing on the Donbass frontlines. On October 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the full control of the village of Mikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The village of Mikhailovka liberated by servicemen of the Russian Center group of forces is located on the eastern outskirts of the town of Selidovo, which is a large stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk direction.
Russian forces took control of the village of Mikhailovka weeks ago. The assault there began in late August. The Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirms control of a settlement after the mop up operations are completed and Russian defense on the outskirts is secured.

According to the latest reports from the Pokrovsk direction, clashes continue in the area of the local Korotchenko mine located on the northeastern outskirts of Selidovo. The Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed a large stronghold on the territory of the mine in an attempt to hide in the industrial buildings and slow down the advance of the Russian army on the dumps. Russian forces are pounding Ukrainian stronghold with drones, missiles and artillery.

The newly shared footage shows the precision strike of Russian guided missile on the facilities of the mine, where at least 30 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hiding. As a result of the strike, the Ukrainian military suffered heavy losses.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are pounding Ukrainian forces in Selidovo and on the outskirts of the town, preparing for offensive operations on the streets. At the same time, the Russian military is surrounding Selidovo in the northern and southern directions.
Selidovo has already been taken in a pincer and the advancing Russian forces are rapidly expanding their zone of control, securing the flanks before the main stage of the upcoming assault. South of Selidovo, Russian flag is waving on the western outskirts of the town of Tsukurino, confirming Russian control of the entire settlement, from where the Russian army is already developing offensive in different directions.
