On June 24, Russian flag was raised in the village of Razdolovka located south of Seversk. The settlement was first surrounded from several directions by the advancing Russian forces. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to save control of the streets, grinded by Russian artillery and airstrikes. The battle for the village continues.
In recent days, Russian airborne assault units knocked the 54th Separate Motorized Brigade of the AFU out from their strongholds on the eastern outskirts of Razdolovka. After they broke through Ukrainian heavily-fortified defense east of the village, Russian forces entered Razdolovka and gained a foothold on the streets.
Servicemen of the assault units of the 119th Parachute regiment installed Russian flag on one of the eastern streets in the village of Razdolovka. According to preliminary reports from the battlefield, about 50% of the village are already under the control of the Russian army.
At the same time, Russian assault groups destroyed Ukrainian defense west of the village. The railway station which was turned into a large Ukrainian stronghold on the western outskirts of Razdolovka has recently come under Russian control. As a result, the settlement was taken in a pincer grip.
Ukrainian servicemen attempt counterattacks on the streets, but the position of the Ukrainian garrison is rapidly deteriorating.
