The Russian Army took the full control of the village of Orlovka on March 19. Since then, Russian forces managed to expand the zone of their control west and north of the village.
In recent days, the Russian troops crossed the river and established a foothold on the southern outskirts of Semenovka, launching reconnaissance attacks to probe Ukrainian defense in the area.

The hidden Ukrainian position destroyed:
Unlike Tonenkoe, Orlovka and partially Berdychi, the village of Semenovka is located on the western bank of the local river. In order to hold control of the last stronghold of the defense line west of Avdeevka, the Ukrainian military command began quickly pulling up reserves to the area.
