Russia, Turkey and Iran have agreed on boundaries of the de-escalation zone in Idlib province at the Syria talks in Kazakh capital Astana, the Turkish state-run media outlet Anadolu Agency reported on Friday citing diplomatic sources.

According to the report, the sides still have to agree which forces will be deployed in Idlib.

During one of the previous rounds of the Astana format (held on May 3-4), the sides agreed to establish four de-escalation zones in Syria.

According to the  signed memorandum, the de-escalation zones would include some areas in Idlib province, parts of the provinces of Latakia, Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Daraa and al-Quneitra as well as Eastern Ghouta and Damascus.

A separate deal was reached between Russia and the US in southern Syria (Daraa and Quneitra) and units of the Russian Military Police was deployed to monitor the cease-fire started on July 9.
