One member of pro-Kiev forces was killed and five others were wounded in the recent clashes with forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DRP) and the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), according to official data from the Ukrainian military. Meanwhile, local soruces reported that sporadic clashes between pro-Kiev forces and DRP/LPR fighters have erupted int the villages of Zolote, Svetlodarsk, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka and Shyrokyne.
The situation in eastern Ukraine has esclated amid the growing tensions between the US and Russia. The current adminsitration in Washington, which is the main backer of the Kiev government, is actively fueling the conflict providing military supplies to the Poroshenko regime. It is also providing a propaganda and diplomatic cover for ceasefire violations made by pro-Kiev forces in eastern Ukraine.
