Police servicemen have shot and injured a man that attacked officers near Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. One officer was injured. The attacker was armed with a hammer and two knives, according to media reports.
French Interior Minister, Gerard Collomb, said that the man shouted “this is for Syria” during the incident. The minister added the attacker carried the identity card of an Algerian student and was acting alone.
